As the Head of Studies at DTU's Design and Innovation Department, he is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of engineers who tackle complex challenges with creative and practical solutions. Josef’s partnership with Gnist Education reflects his commitment to advancing STEM education and bridging the gap between academia and real-world applications. He provides invaluable insights into design thinking and innovation processes, ensuring that Gnist's initiatives align with industry standards and cutting-edge practices. Eddie plays a central role in the Gnist Education team, blending his extensive teaching background with his technical skills in 3D printing, laser cutting, and digital design. With over a decade of experience as an MYP Design teacher at Copenhagen International School, Eddie brings a wealth of expertise in fostering creativity and critical thinking among students. He is passionate about equipping learners and educators with tools to innovate and thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Eddie plays a central role in the Gnist Education team, blending his extensive teaching background with his technical skills in 3D printing, laser cutting, and digital design. Philip Wiehe Larsen
Lead Engineer & MSc Design and Innovation at DTU
Philip Wiehe Larsen is an emerging leader in engineering and design, currently pursuing his MSc in Design and Innovation at DTU. As the lead engineer for Gnist Education, he oversees a dynamic team of graduate and undergraduate students, driving innovation and technical excellence across all projects. Philip’s role at Gnist reflects his passion for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. His leadership ensures that Gnist’s initiatives are built on robust engineering principles while remaining accessible and impactful for educators and students alike.
